Holiday highlights

Lisbon - Marques de Pombal
The square is the radiating point for various important avenues: Liberdade, Duque de Loulé and Fontes Pereira de Melo, as well as the streets Braamcamp and Joaquim António de Aguiar. In the middle of the roundabout there is a large column dedicated to Sebastiao Jose de Carvalho e Melo, built between 1917 and 1934.
Lisbon - The Belem Tower
This tower is to Lisbon what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris or Big Ben is to London. It is the city's most photographed landmark, which along with the marvellous Jerónimos Monastery, should top your list of must-see monuments.
Fátima
Fátima is a central Portuguese town, know for the Sanctuary of Fátima, a Catholic pilgrimage site. The Capelinha das Aparições is the iconic location where the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared in 1917. You'll enjoy a guided excursion to the region to learn the religious visions which took place here.
