Venice - St. Mark's Square & Basilica

The main public square in Venice and one of the most famous in the world, every day hundreds of tourists descend on this magnificent public space. The Basilica is one of the most spectacular in the world, both in its façade and interior. The numerous domes and arches are adorned with an incredible array of artistic, iconographic and religious works from some of the greatest Italian and European artist throughout the centuries.

Venice - Ca' d'Oro

This magnificent Gothic structure houses the Galleria Franchetti, an impressive collection of bronzes, tapestries and paintings from the 15th and 16th centuries, with many works by Titian. A big incentive for visiting is the chance to take in the panorama from the balconies over the Grand Canal on the first and second floors.

Croatia - Dubrovnik Old Town

Wandering through the dazzling streets and squares of the Old Town is a great way to while away a few relaxing hours. Explore the warren of marble-paved and cobbled streets and pick up some beautiful local art or handmade items in the little shops before enjoying an Italian style ice cream. At night the town is buzzing with activity, it’s a great time to sit with a drink outside one of the numerous bars & cafés and watch the world go by.

Kotor

Kotor is a beautiful old city located along Montenegro’s Adriatic coast. It is a fortified town famous for its winding streets, picturesque squares and medieval old town. Kotor is a UNESCO listed “World Natural and Historical Heritage Site” and visitors to the city can enjoy spending time exploring the medieval architecture, Romanesque churches and numerous monuments of cultural significance in the area. Some highlights include the Prince’s Palace, Napoleon’s Theatre, The Church of Saint Luke (Sveti Luka), the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon (Sveti Tripun) and the Church of Saint Ana (Sveta Ana).

The Norwegian Star

The Norweigan Star has ample deck space to unwind in the sun, several lounges and bars, including a casino and a large variety of dining options to choose from. Entertainment, spa and fitness facilities are also available onboard.

Trip Itinerary - Day by day

Day 1 - Travel to Italy

Depart Dublin Airport for your flight to Venice. Upon arrival, you will be met by your friendly local guide who will assist you in the transfer to your hotel in Venice’s Mestre district. Settle in at your hotel and get to know your fellow travellers over dinner in a local restaurant

Day 2 - Venice

Venice

After breakfast you will be transferred to Piazza San Marco by boat for a half day city tour of Venice. No matter how often you've seen it in photos, Venice in real life is more dreamlike than you could imagine. With canals where streets should be, water shimmers everywhere, the fabulous palaces and churches reflect centuries of history. The afternoon is free for sightseeing. Then you will be transferred back to Venice Mestre for a further overnight stay and evening meal.

Day 3 - Norwegian Star

Enjoy a guided coach transfer from the hotel to Venice port. Embark the Norwegian Star for your 7 night cruise on a full board basis. Settle into your cabin and explore the range of facilities on board the Norwegian Star as you embark on your cruise along the Greek Isles. This afternoon, set sail towards Kotor.

Day 4 - Kotor (Montenegro)

This afternoon we will arrive in Kotor. Tucked away between the mountains and the bay, one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea, is where you'll find the picturesque town of Kotor. As you arrive at the city, you'll notice the dramatic 65-foot high protective walls, which date back to the Venetian period during the 9th century. Stroll the labyrinth of cobbled streets with cozy cafes and craft shops as you marvel at the graceful old buildings. This evening you will depart Kotor and set sail for Corfu (Greece).

Day 5 - Corfu (Greece)

This morning you will arrive in Corfu, one of the lushest of the Greek Isles. Corfu is rimmed in dramatic blue waters and topped with tranquil hillside villages. A collection of quaint cafes in the town of Corfu feels very continental, but the island's secluded coves and sandy beaches could only be found in the Greek Isles.

Day 6 - Santorini Island (Greece)

The sight of spectacular Santorini will take your breath away. Sun-kissed beaches, cobalt seas, dazzling white houses, bright blue domes and dramatic volcanic mountains. Wander in lovely villages with narrow streets and winding steps, tasting a meze, Greek wine or pastry along the way. Secluded coves, hot springs and ancient settlements only increase the charms of this stunning island. In the evening, you will depart for Mykonos, arriving around 08:00 hrs the next day.

Day 7 - Mykonos (Greece)

Mykonos (Greece)

Mykonos is a classic Greek Island with whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and windmills. Add a reputation for beautiful beaches and you'll understand why Mykonos is the most popular island in the Cyclades. In the afternoon we will depart for Dubrovnik and spend the next day at Sea.

Day 8 - Argostoli, Kelfalonia (Greece)

Argostoli, Kelfalonia (Greece)

Today arrive into Argostoli, capital of the island of Kelfalonia, a picturesque gem on Greece’s west coast. Admire the beautiful church of Saint Spyridon and the interesting clock tower of Campana Square. Wander the paved streets filled with shops and enjoy the lively atmosphere of this beautiful town, or maybe grab something to eat in one of the town’s many traditional restaurants.

Day 9 - Dubrovnik (Croatia)

Dubrovnik (Croatia)

In the morning you will arrive in Dubrovnik, a UNESCO world heritage treasure. Walk the city’s fabled ancient walls for spectacular views of the coast, be overawed by the magnificent marble streets and Baroque buildings or soak up sea and sun on the beautiful beaches. Cliff side cafes, live music, sun, what else could you need? In the early afternoon, you will depart Dubrovnik and set sail for Venice.

Day 10 - Venice & Return Home

Venice & Return Home

This morning, you will arrive into Venice. Following disembarkation, you will be met by your local guide, and depart for your transfer to the airport for your return flight to Dublin.
