Food & Drink
You can choose to dine in Buffet style restaurants. You’ll be able to fill up plate after plate. These complimentary options are located indoors and outdoors, in different areas depending on the ship. On each ship, there are two (and in some cases, even three) Dining rooms to savour the Norwegian way of on-board dining. Freestyle Dining means no set mealtimes, so you’re welcome to sit down and enjoy your meal at any time you please. Main Dining Rooms are complimentary. You can enjoy a unique and specific dining experience in between your complimentary dining experiences. A Premium Drinks and Speciality Dining Package, where you can enjoy four meals in any of the restaurants on board, is also included in your tour price.
Many of the popular excursions sell out quickly, so be sure to reserve your "must do" Shore Excursion choices in advance. In order to book, you will firstly need to register on Norwegian Cruise Line's website or if you would prefer to book your Shore Excursions by phone, you can call Norwegian Cruise Line’s customer care team. You can also reserve excursions at the Shore Excursion Desk during your first day on the ship.
For your cruise, casual and comfortable is suitable anytime during the day, in the buffet and in most speciality restaurants. Swimwear is acceptable at the buffet and outdoor restaurant, but a shirt or a cover-up and footwear are required. Wear smart casual if you are having dinner in the main dining room and in Le Bistro restaurants. Norwegian's Night Out is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up for an evening of cocktails, fine dining and great entertainment. For the land portion and shore excursions we suggest firm walking shoes and weather appropriate layered clothing. Please note: Since your suitcases are collected on the last night of your cruise, don't forget an overnight bag for necessary medication, documents, phone charger and need to-have items.
Gratuities are a welcome acknowledgement by everyone who makes your holiday possible while you travel with us. On the ship the gratuities have been included. These gratuities are compulsory. On land the gratuities are not included and are completely discretionary.
