Among the species that live in Alaska are Black and Brown Bears, Moose, Mountain Goats and Bison, while its waters are home to many fish and even Orcas and Humpback Whales. Keep your eyes peeled!
Holkham Bay Glacier

Holkham Bay Glacier is one of Alaska’s most breath-taking sites and it’s known for Tracy Arm, a fjord located approximately 45 miles south of Juneau. You will cruise through Stephen’s Passage, a channel in the Alexander Archipelago to enter Holkham Bay and access Tracy Arm. There are icebergs in Holkham Bay with spectacular shades of blue and you will also get to see Mt. Sumdum and its glacier. Holkham Bay also has a variety of wildlife and it’s one of the best places to spot eagles, bears, and whales.

Day 3 - Day at Sea

Full Day

Day at Sea

Enjoy the day cruising on board the Norwegian Joy. Relax and enjoy the ship's facilities including the bar, lounge, pool and spa.

Day 4 - Ketchikan (Alaska)

Full Day

Ketchikan (Alaska)

In the morning, we will arrive in Ketchikan. In the early 1900s, when gold was Alaska's claim to fame, fishing, canning and logging industries drew hearty workers, who added a raucous side to the city's history. The infamous restored "red light" district, with its bordello-turned-museum, is a present-day testament to that era. Nearby Misty Fiords National Monument is a glacier-carved wilderness featuring snow-capped mountains, waterfalls and salmon spawning streams. It's also home to rich wildlife, including black bears, wolves and bald eagles. Early this afternoon, we will set sail towards Juneau.

Day 5 - Juneau (Alaska)

Morning

Juneau (Alaska)

Juneau has been called "Alaska's peak experience," due in part to its unparalleled glacier viewing from such places as Tracy Arm Fjord, the Juneau Icefields and Glacier Bay National Park. Accessible only by water and air, it is not surprising that wildlife thrives in Juneau's stunning frontier landscape. In fact, it is the only state capitol whose governor's mansion sits less than one mile from prime grizzly bear habitat. Later we set sail for Holkham Bay Glacier.

Afternoon

Holkham Bay Glacier

Wherever you stand on board as you cruise through Holkham Bay Glacier, you’re guaranteed a front row view. Several tidewater glaciers flow into the bay, which ranks among the highlights of any journey to Alaska. You can hear the sound of the breaking ice before it topples thunderously into the sea. While you marvel at that, bald eagles soar past, humpback whales emerge above the water, mountain goats scale the steep slopes and brown bears go about their business on the shore.

Day 6 - Skagway (Alaska)

Full Day

Skagway (Alaska)

It all started in 1896, when gold was discovered in a tributary of the Klondike River and tiny Skagway quickly grew to 20,000 residents. By 1900, the White Pass and Yukon Route railway began carrying the more fortunate gold seekers over the mountain pass. The real gold, some say, never left Skagway. It is still there in the matchless golden sunrises and sunsets... In the evening we will depart and spend the next day at sea.

Day 7 - At Sea

Full Day

At Sea

Have another day to relax while listening to the ocean waves. Relax in the spa, catch a show at the theatre, stroll the Waterfront, take a dip in the pool or visit one of the ship’s bars to indulge in a cocktail – the choice is yours.

Day 8 - Victoria (British Columbia)

Full Day

Victoria (British Columbia)

Victoria offers visitors an escape from the hurried world and it beams with ambiance. Here, you can explore the city’s architecture, nature, gastronomy and heritage. Explore the historic Bastion Square, the treasures of Chinatown and the many sights and sounds to be found along the boardwalk of the Inner Harbour. Tonight we will depart for Seattle and arrive the next morning.

Day 9 - Disembark & Seattle

Full Day

Disembark & Seattle

This morning arrive into Seattle. Following disembarkation, you will be transferred to your hotel in Downtown Seattle for some more time in this beautiful city. Take in some further sightseeing, shopping or just relax and unwind.
