Take a Marrakech city break; the perfect introduction to Moroccan culture, history and incredible landscapes.

Marrakech is one of the world’s most captivating cities, it has been a bustling marketplace for centuries and you’ll discover the best of the ‘Red City’.

Enjoy a guided city tour of Marrakech, beginning with the Menara Gardens, which are perched on an artificial lake and sit underneath a stunning mountain range. You will also visit Bahia Palace and Koutoubia Mosque, which is regarded as one of the most impressive Islamic structures in North Africa.

Despite the size and the labyrinthine nature of the city, Marrakech is surprisingly easy to navigate and walking through the streets will never be boring as you’re bound to pass acrobats, musicians, storytellers and dancers along the way.

Experience authentic Morrocan cuisine and take tea with a local Berber family in Imlil, a small village in the picturesque Atlas Mountains, 1,800 metres above sea level.

There will also be plenty of time to relax and enjoy Marrakech at your own pace.Join us on a Marrakech city break and let our fantastic local guides show you the very best of this wonderful ancient city.

Holiday highlights

Marrakech souk

The souk has a variety of shops selling handcrafted slippers, traditional woodwork, brass, iron and bronze artefacts, jewellery, kaftans, carpets, spices and pottery.

Djemaa el-Fna

This colourful square in Marrakech is where snake charmers, storytellers, medicine men and musicians congregate to entertain and enthral locals and tourists alike.

Bahia Palace

The name of this palace literally means ‘brilliance’ and it truly is a spectacular sight. Located in the Jewish quarter in Marrakech, its construction was completed in 1900 and it was intended to be the greatest palace of its time.

Menara Gardens

Standing at the gates of the Atlas Mountains, the Menara Gardens are a refreshing oasis of tranquillity to the heat of Marrakech. They were built in the 12th century by the Almohad ruler and contain several gardens surrounding a huge artificial lake. A must for any visitor to Morocco.
