Holiday highlights

Norwegian Epic

As well as offering a huge variety of bars and lounges, dining options and spacious sun decks, the Norwegian Epic was awarded Best Cruise Ship Entertainment by Frommer’s and this year welcomes two new Broadway shows: Ballroom Blitz and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

Colosseum
Construction of the Colosseum was started by Vespasian in 72 AD, in the grounds of Nero's private Domus Aurea. The 50,000-seat arena was used to stage spectacular gladiatorial games in front of bloodthirsty spectators.
Pisa
Thanks to its extraordinary Leaning Tower and the impressive Campo dei Miracoli where it is situated, the university town of Pisa is one of Tuscany’s top attractions. The historic centre has well-preserved Romanesque architecture and pleasing piazzas, where students and locals enjoy the city’s buzzing café and bar scene.
La Sagrada Família, Barcelona
The most ambitious work of Gaudi, the magnificent spires of the unfinished cathedral imprint themselves boldly against the sky with swelling outlines inspired by the holy Montserrat.
