Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be met by our local representative in the airport. Transfer to your hotel before starting the city tour.

Half day City Tour & Table Mountain
Begin your holiday with a trip to Table Mountain (weather permitting) for a cable car ride to take in the spectacular views of the city, stretching to False Bay, including Robben Island and the Devil’s Peak. A walk through the Company Gardens and a scenic city tour passing the Houses of Parliament, City Hall and a visit to Cape Castle, one of the oldest surviving buildings in South Africa.

Full day Safari
After breakfast, depart for a safari drive at the Aquila Private Game Reserve. The reserve is home to a variety of game, including the “Big 5” your viewing will be in an open safari vehicle. Don’t forget to have your camera and binoculars ready for wildlife spotting. Buffet lunch is included today.

Robben Island tour
Weather permitting; today you will catch the boat from the Victoria & Alfred waterfront out to Robben Island. Located almost 7km off the coast in Table Bay, the island is renowned as the location where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. Today the island is a UNESCO world heritage site and a living museum, welcoming thousands of visitors every year. You will have a guided tour of the island and museum by one of the former political prisoners from the island.

The afternoon is at leisure. You will have the rest of the day to become familiar with your surroundings or just relax at your hotel. Your guide can recommend places of interest for you to further explore.

Cape Point Tour
On today’s excursion to the Cape Peninsula, you will see some of the most beautiful scenery on your tour. You will travel along the Atlantic seaboard with its white beaches and rugged mountains to Hout Bay. Another stop included is the Cape Point Nature Reserve, the tip of the Cape Peninsula that has captivated people for centuries with its dramatic scenery. There will be an option of visiting the colony of rare African Penguins at Bolders beach.
On the return journey you will pass through the naval village of Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg.

Transfer to Arniston
After breakfast you will transfer to the tranquil little fishing village of Arniston, Cape Agulhas. Arniston is also known as Waenhuiskrans "wagon shelter cliff" after a large low tide sea cave, it eroded in such a way it resembles the structures used by settlers to house the oxen and wagons. Arniston is an attraction for artists and photographers for its prettiness, rolling sand dunes, blue sea and cliffs.

The late afternoon will be at leisure to further become familiar with your surroundings. The coastline is a perfect invitation for a long walk.

Hermanus
Today you will visit Hermanus, enroute you will have the opportunity to stop at Cape Agulhas light house which is situated at the southernmost tip of Africa.
Hermanus is rich in scenic beauty, upmarket shops and is one of the official Whale watching capitals of the world, where Whales can be sometimes seen from the shore (seasonal June - October) making this a popular destination for nature enthusiasts. In your free time you can further explore some of the sites Hermanus has to offer including a selection of galleries, fashion boutiques, jewellery shops and for those who are interested there is also the Old Harbour Museum, with informative displays and a suspended skeleton of a whale.

Transfer from Arniston to Knysna
After breakfast, you will depart for the coastal town of Knysna taking in the spectacular mountain sights while driving through the Outeniqua Mountain Pass.
Knysna is one of the Southern Cape coast’s best-known holiday destination, situated between lush forests and the shores of the lagoon. The mouth of the lagoon is guarded by two promontories known as ‘The Heads’ and is famed due to the amount, of sailors who lost their lives sailing through this dangerous stretch.

Featherbed Nature Reserve
Today you will visit the Featherbed Nature Reserve, where you will travel by ferry across the Knysna Lagoon. The reserve lies on the unspoilt western head of Knysna, you will be in a 4x4 vehicle to see stunning views and beautiful flora & fauna. There is also the option to take a downhill walk after, don’t forget to bring your camera and good walking shoes. Enjoy a buffet lunch sitting underneath a canopy of Milkwood trees. Lunch is included today.

Stellenbosch
Depart after breakfast for the Cape Winelands town of Stellenbosch, a charming town with rugged mountains and a myriad of vines as its backdrop. Stellenbosch is perhaps one of the most famous wine producing regions in South Africa. Rest of the day is at leisure to soak up the surroundings and enjoy the scenery.

Winelands Tour - Full Day
Today you will take a scenic and historic drive through the local wine regions. Drive through Stellenbosch with its tree lined streets and historical architecture; here you will visit the Stellenbosch Museum, representing different periods of Stellenbosch. After will be the wine tasting and blending at a Wine Estate.

This evening you will have an early dinner at a Wine Estate to finish off your Winelands tour.

After breakfast you will transfer to Cape Town Airport for your flight home.
