Begin your Greek adventure with a 2 night stay in Athens, where you'll have time to explore this historic city and go on a half day guided sightseeing tour of the capital before embarking on your 7 night cruise around the Greek Islands.

Relax on board the Celestyal Crystal as you sail across the Aegean Sea and explore the stunning Greek Islands of Mykonos, Santorini, Rhodes and Crete. Enjoy included excursions to the ancient palace of Knossos, the stunning village of Oia in Santorini, and the ancient Roman city of Ephesus in Kusadasi, Turkey.

Food & Drink

Celestyal Cruises offers a range of dining options on board, both casual & more formal. Your cruise package includes three wholesome meals as well as afternoon tea every day. Breakfast is served buffet style and buffet and à la carte menus are available for lunch and dinner. Meals are cooked on-board by the ship’s chefs and feature fresh Mediterranean ingredients. When the sun’s shining brightly, there’s casual al fresco dining on deck as well as room service (at an extra cost), so you can choose exactly how and when you want to eat. Most days mealtimes are not set, so you’re welcome to sit down and enjoy your meal at any time you please. However, on other days there may be two sittings, please speak with your group facilitator on which sitting time you would prefer. Outside your four meals a day a 24 hour snack menu is available at an extra cost. Additionally, if you are looking to enhance your dining experience, specialty menus are available in the ship’s restaurant which feature both Greek and international dishes with wine pairing to enhance your stay on board. These are at an additional cost

 

Shore Excursions

Three excursions are included as part of your holiday price. Please see your itinerary for those included. These have been handpicked for you from among the most popular excursions on that cruise. Additional excursions (at an extra cost) are available to book onboard the ship upon arrival at the shore excursions reception desk.

 

Dress Code

For your cruise, casual and comfortable is suitable anytime during the day, in the buffet and in the restaurants. Swimwear is acceptable at the buffet and outdoor restaurant, but a shirt or a cover-up and footwear are required. If you are having dinner in the main dining rooms, smart casual is required. During your cruise there will be a Gala Dinner and Captain’s Cocktail party which is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up for an evening of cocktails, fine dining and great entertainment. Celestyal Cruises asks that that you attend in formal dress: a cocktail dress or something smart for ladies; jacket and tie for men. For the land portion and shore excursions we suggest firm walking shoes and weather appropriate layered clothing. Please note: Since your suitcases are collected on the last night of your cruise, don't forget an overnight bag for necessary medication, documents, phone charger and need-to-have items.

Athens 

Step back in time and explore the Ancient City of Greece. On a half day guided sightseeing tour of the capital you will get to see the breath-taking Acropolis, an ancient citadel perched on a hill top overlooking Athens. You will also see the Panathinaikos Stadium, host of the first modern Olympic Games and the only stadium in the world that is entirely built of marble.

Mykonos

One of the main attractions of Mykonos are its wonderful beaches and the iconic Windmills of Kato. 

Milos

A volcanic island with magnificent landscapes and fascinating history, in fact the famous Venus de Milo staue was found on the island. 

Santorini

Santorini, also known as Thira, is part of the Cylades island group and is famous for its stunning whitewash buildings with blue doors and roofs, which correlates with the Greece's national flag. Many tourists visit Santorini to view the beautiful sunsets, which is considered to be the best in the world.  

Heraklion (Crete)

Explore the town of Heraklion and discover the ancient Knossos Palace, the birthplace of the Minos civilisation. Known as Europe's oldest city, Knossos is also the largest archaeological site on Crete.

Day 1- Travel to Greece

Upon arriving in Greece, you will be met our local representative in the airport, who will assist you in the transfer to your hotel in Athens. Take the rest of the day to relax, unpack and get to know your hotel and its surroundings.

Day 2- Athens

Athens City Tour

This morning explore the delights Athens has to offer on a half day guided city tour of the Greek capital. You tour will include a visit to the breath-taking Acropolis, an ancient citadel perched on a hilltop overlooking the city. This wonderful settlement is home to the Parthenon, a beautiful Doric temple, and the Erechtheion, a temple dedicated to Poseidon. You will also see the Panathinaikos Stadium, host to the first modern Olympic Games.

Have the rest of the day at leisure to explore Athens at your own pace. Your guide will be happy to suggest places of interest to see and visit depending on your own tastes.

Day 3- Commence your cruise

Commence your cruise

Transfer today from your hotel to Piraeus Port to embark the Celestyal Crystal for your 7-night cruise. Settle in on board and get to know your ship. This evening you will depart for Kusadasi, Turkey.

Day 4- Kusadasi & Ephesus

Kusadasi & Ephesus

Arrive today into Kusadasi, Turkey and enjoy an included excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus, built over 2000 years ago and one of the former major cities of the Ancient Roman Empire. Travel back to the grandeur of this period during your guided tour where you see sites as the Grand Theatre, the Library of Celsus and Hadrian’s temple. In the evening, return to your ship and set sail, returning to Piraeus.

Day 5- Rhodes

Approaching Rhodes from the sea is an experience itself as the clifftop Acropolis rises slowly from the blue water. Have the day at leisure to explore this fascinating island with its cobbled streets evoking the glory days of the Byzantine Empire. Vast sandy beaches, emerald waters, gourmet restaurants and traditional tavernas serving local delicacies add to the charm of this Greek Island.

Day 6- Heraklion, Crete

Heraklion, Crete & Knossos Palace

Wake up this morning in Heraklion, Crete where you will have an included excursion to the ancient palace of Knossos, the ancient capital of the great king Minos, constructed around 1900 BC and birthplace of the Minos civilisation. Set around a central courtyard; admire the ruins of this immense palace, decorated with restored, lively frescoes. You will then have some time to explore the town of Heraklion at your own pace before returning to your ship.

Day 7- Santorini & Oia

Santorini & Oia

The sight of spectacular Santorini will take your breath away, filled with sun-kissed beaches, cobalt seas, dazzling white houses, bright blue domes and dramatic volcanic mountains.. Today you will be taken on an included excursion to the picturesque village of Oia, perched on the northern tip of Santorini Island. Begin your day with a stroll around the charming village of Megalohori before continuing on to Oia. Admire the traditional houses built into the volcanic rock as well as the stunning views across Santorini Bay. This evening return to your ship which will leave for Milos in the early morning.

Day 8- Milos & Mykonos

Arrive this morning at the island of Milos. Its volcanic past has given this island an exciting variety of landscapes, such as a multitude of caves and rock formations as well as over 80 beaches including the lunar like landscape of the Sarakiniko beach. Have the morning to explore this charming island before setting sail for Mykonos after lunch,

Evening

Mykonos

Arrive this evening into Mykonos. Mykonos is a classic Greek Island with whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and windmills. Add a reputation for beautiful beaches and you'll understand why Mykonos is the most popular island in the Cyclades. Your ship will remain in Mykonos overnight.

Day 9- Mykonos

Today have a full day at leisure to enjoy the beautiful island of Mykonos filled with sun-kissed beaches and cobalt seas. Don’t miss the opportunity to wander around the winding streets of the Chora area and the Little Venice of Mykonos town tasting a meze, Greek wine or pastry along the way. Your ship will leave for Athens in the early evening.

Day 10- Return Home

Return Home

This morning arrive back into Piraeus, Athens. Time to say goodbye to Greece and to an unforgettable cruise experience. Following disembarkation, you will be transferred with guide assistance to the airport for your return flight home.
