With a two night stay in Venice, you’ll have time to explore this interesting city with its endless canals. You will then explore the Adriatic Sea like never before.

Travel from one exotic destination to another while never having to unpack. With large open deck spaces to relax and unwind, you can soak up the sun while you are transported around the beautiful coasts of Greece, Croatia and Italy. The Norwegian Star on board features include a pool, spa*, and theatre, as well as many bars, restaurants and much more.

The main public square in Venice and one of the most famous in the world, every day hundreds of tourists descend on this magnificent public space. The Basilica is one of the most spectacular in the world, both in its façade and interior. The numerous domes and arches are adorned with an incredible array of artistic, iconographic and religious works from some of the greatest Italian and European artist throughout the centuries.
Dubrovnik Old Town
Wandering through the dazzling streets and squares of the Old Town is a great way to while away a few relaxing hours. Explore the warren of marble-paved and cobbled streets and pick up some beautiful local art or handmade items in the little shops before enjoying an Italian style ice cream. At night the town is buzzing with activity, it’s a great time to sit with a drink outside one of the numerous bars & cafés and watch the world go by.

Day 1 - Travel to Venice

Travelling to Italy

Depart Dublin Airport for your flight to Venice. Upon arrival in Venice you will be met by your friendly local guide who will assist you in the transfer to your hotel in Venice Mestre.

Day 2 - Venice

Venice

After breakfast you will be transferred to Piazza San Marco by boat for a half day city tour of Venice. No matter how often you've seen it in photos, Venice in real life is more dreamlike than you could imagine. With canals where streets should be, water shimmers everywhere, the fabulous palaces and churches reflect centuries of history. The afternoon is free for sightseeing. Then you will be transfer back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay*.

Please Note;

*The 02nd June 2018 departure will commence the cruise on Day 2 and return to Venice for their final night post-cruise on a half board basis in the hotel, with a lunch included after disembarking the cruise ship.

Day 3 - Norwegian Star

Enjoy a guided coach transfer from the hotel to Venice port. Embark the Norwegian Star for your 7 night cruise on All Inclusive basis. Settle into your cabin and explore the range of facilities on board the Norwegian Star as you embark on your cruise along the Adriatic Sea. This afternoon, set sail towards Dubrovnik.

Day 4 - Dubrovnik

In the afternoon you will arrive in Dubrovnik, a UNESCO world heritage treasure. Walk the city’s fabled ancient walls for spectacular views of the coast, be overawed by the magnificent marble streets and Baroque buildings or soak up sea and sun on the beautiful beaches. Cliff side cafes, live music, sun, what more could you need? In the evening you will depart Dubrovnik and set sail for Kotor (Montenegro).

Day 5 - Kotor (Montenegro)

In the morning you will arrive in Kotor. Tucked away between the mountains and the bay, one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea, is where you'll find the picturesque town of Kotor. As you arrive in the city, you'll notice the dramatic 65-foot high protective walls, which date back to the Venetian period during the 9th century. Stroll the labyrinth of cobbled streets with cozy cafes and craft shops as you marvel the graceful old buildings. In the afternoon you will depart Kotor and set sail for Olympia (Katakolon).

Day 6 - Olympia (Greece)

This quaint little seaside town on the Ionian Sea is the gateway to Ancient Olympia, where Greek mythology was born and the first Olympiad was held. You may still be able to hear the distant echoes of the ancient Greeks cheering as you tour the ruins of one of the most important and exciting sanctuaries of antiquity. In the afternoon depart Olympia, arriving around 07:00 hrs the next day in Piraeus (Athens).

Not only is this city home to the Acropolis and some of the most important architectural structures and archaeological finds in the Western world, it is also a very modern city, an urban amalgam of extraordinary art, culture, cuisine and shopping. In the afternoon you will depart for Split (Croatia) and spend the next day at sea.

In the afternoon, you will depart Split and set sail for Venice.

Day 10 - Venice & Return Home

This morning, you will arrive into Venice. Following disembarkation, you will be met by your local guide, and depart for your transfer to the airport for your return flight to Dublin.
